Random Question for NFL fans?

I was just wondering if anyone out there has been in the following situation: You like an NFC team and your significant other likes an AFC team(or vice versa) and they meet in the super bowl. Has anyone experienced this? Can you tell me what that's like. I know it's way too early in the season to be thinking about this, but I have been a Packer fan my whole life and my boyfriend of four years is a Steeler fan, and I was recently imagining the above mentioned scenario with a bit of horror actually. Just curious.
