Is runescape the same to diablo/diablo 2?

ok runescape is addicting because of the fact that it annoys you to level over and over and over again till you've reached 99 but in pvp/pking everyone is some pure who uses bots to get runes and make their magic and runecrafting 99 and thats no fun. so i was wondering... what is the gameplay of diablo and is it similar to ruenscape? if not, can you tell me the gameplay and how it is? you can compare it to WoW if you want ill understand the terms because i play WoW ATM. thanks.
