Are Drosophila white eyed mutants blind?
Xantomatin and Drosophine are two Pigment which is necessary for wild type(Red Brick) eye color in white mutants somhow the biosynthesis of this pigment is impaired so the eye seems white but it does not affect the vision of these mutants..
