What is wrong with my co-worker? He thrives when the the company fails! Goes around gloating? Do you know?

Hard to say....maybe it's all a front and he's just acting nonchalant to hide his concern. Or maybe he wants out of his job and doesn't really care. Either way, that is probaby not a good attitude to be portraying to the higher-ups.
