Is there any "real" medieval living historians?

I've been to reenactments and rennaisance fairs and all that, but they don't exactly cover the realism of history. They are fun...but that's all they are. My question is, is there any places or groups that actually live daily from dawn to dusk that practice medieval lifestyle. Rather than just act once or twice a week...I mean real life honest to goodness living. Kind of like how Amish people live their day to day lives in a colonial puritan setting. It is my dream to set the computer games aside depicting what life may have been like and pick up garden tools...live like a medieval villager...trade my/our goods...and take a nights rest in a medieval house. then wake up the rest of my days doing real medieval villager work. Speaking the language...using the terms...and having others that wish to do the same with me. If there is not a such place do you guys think it would be reeeeally cool if I were to try my hardest to get something like that set up? I would get historians to host cles to modern people until they are naturally learned medieval villagers where they are ready to take part in daily medieval life. There is much more that I have in mind.....sooooo much more. but I believe i've said enough.
