Should I Hate My Father?

My father left my mother when i was 8 for another woman. he married that other woman and shes my stepmom. they have 3 kids now. i didnt know the whole story and in the years following the divorce i would spend 2 weekends a month with my father. slowly i began to realize all the lies he told us, how he left and started a whole new family and all he left me with was his name, he tried on multiple occaisions to lower child support, and im now 2 weeks from 17 and i have a part time job for the summer and a full time girlfriend. not to mention friends. i want to enjoy this summer. and he wants me to spend my days off and weekends with him. the few times i do go over, i end up babysitting. i want to hate him, but its hard. and i HATE when he gets upset that i dont go there more. and not to mention that my stepmom threatened me a few times (when i was 10 she grabbed me by the neck and said she could make me beg for mercy, she also threatened to make me clean floors with bleach and barehands)
