No dancing at a tail style reception a bad idea?

Just wanted opinions from others thanks! We will be married in our hometown at an art gallery and so I was thinking of renting some lounge furniture so people can talk and mingle. I'm up in the air about the no dancing thing because we are only having 80 people (close famlily & friends) any ideas. There will be a dj playing music. We will be having carving stations along with other appetizers both hot and cold and of course dessert and coffee. What do you guys think?
