Girls name : Madeleine OR Madelyn?

Madelyn, Madeleine is actually a completely different pronounciation altogether which a lot of people don't know, It is french and therefore pronounced Mad-eh-lenn or some peopel with the name pronounce it Mad-eh-lane. Madeleine looks alot prettier but I'd still have to say Madelyn, otherwise people would get it wrong.
