How is the best way to build a oversized non-working telephone prop?

I'm doing props for You're a Good Man Charlie Brown at my high school, and one of the props is a vintage telephone. Since we have adult sized people playing children, the props all have to be oversized. I was wondering if anyone had an idea on hoow to build it.
