How can i get more apps and games on my itouch without jailbreaking or hacking?

if you go to the apps part of apple on your itouch, its gives you a ton of games and whatnot to add. and when you go to that application, hit bookmarks then hit i think it's add to main screen (something like that) ... sorry i don't have my touch in front of me.
