Hey guys, I am EXTREMELY worried about getting n this school I graduate June 11 and this date is speedily approaching. I have gotten in to another university (Chowan University) but I live RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER from chowan which I think s a understandable reason for me not wanting to go, but anyway I applied to Bowie State (Maryland) and my addmision counselor of my school called and my addmision counselor of my school called Bowie's admissions office about a month ago, and they told him to call back in the first week of June. What is this animated short from?

So I remember watching an animated short a looooong time ago but I can't remember what it was called or what it's from (def not pixar though). It was CG animation, and it took place in this very very cold snowy area in this kind of old looking town. All I really remember was that at one point this little girl is for some reason out in the snow totally freezing out there and I think she like about to fall asleep and die at one point (I at least remember being all sad for her) and I think it started to show how she would live in her imagination with like a warm bed and everything, something about going into her imagination was there. Should i make a duct tape boat?

so i was searching the web for a reasonable dinghy to have to use once in a while to go fishing and what not or just to ride around in. but im not a man of money. i figured it would be cheaper to buy around 20 rolls of duct tape and some wood. if i constructed a wooden boat frame and used duct tape to cover it as a hull, would this be practical? would it last a while or fall apart after a use or 2? and also for a 2 person dinghy that is that is about 4' wide at the top,5' long, and 3' tall, would i need that much duct tape? thanks yallz!

Wierd Creepy Clown Dream?

Last night I had an awful dream! Yes, I do have a HUGE phobia of clowns. The dream starts out with me, my ex-best friend, and her stupid little bestie. The stupid bestie always pretends she loves me, she does not. So were all standing outside of the basement by the door to the basement. The bestie dared me to go inside the basement, they were saying there was a killer clown inside of the basement. But I didn't believe it, now, that part did happen once. They dared me a few months back, but I didn't go of course. But in the dream, they pushed me inside. I heard a hissssss, coming from behind the washing machine. I curled up into a ball and started to cry hysterically. A huge killer lookin clown thingee came out from the shadows. I ran out the door, the two girls left me there. So, I ran out the door, up the stairs, and out of the door on the side of the apartment, then, It all shifted to my ex-best friends neighborhood. My mom was waiting outside in the car, the clown kept running, then, he pounced and got me. He grabbed my foot, so I kicked him in the face. I jumped into my mom's car through the sunroof. I screamed, "DRIVE WOMAN!!! DRIVE!!!!" Then I looked at her, and it was the clown. And he ate me. O.O

Going to College Early?

Its possible because I've seen it happen, but the only way you can graduate high school a year earlier then planned is if you complete all required courses or complete the minimum amount of credits for you high school. It is VERY tough because some high schools don't even allow you to, and if they do, you have to do a lot of work over the summer. If you able to actually do this, colleges on your list may be very impressed giving you a good chance for admission. But, my recommendation is stay the 4 years of high school. You can actually have a high school experience.

I've been to reenactments and rennaisance fairs and all that, but they don't exactly cover the realism of history. They are fun...but that's all they are. My question is, is there any places or groups that actually live daily from dawn to dusk that practice medieval lifestyle. Rather than just act once or twice a week...I mean real life honest to goodness living. Kind of like how Amish people live their day to day lives in a colonial puritan setting. Do you feel exotic animals being kept as pets is cruel?

I love animals. I have a double yellow head amazon, a ball python, and an iguana. I also have 2 dogs, guinea pigs, fish,etc... but those are more common domesticated animals. So i'm referring to parrots and reptiles for example. I love and care for them dearly, they are like my children. I have an indoor ivy plant which is in an appropriately sized pot and potted with Miracle Grow potting soil. I have had this plant for several years and it is beautiful and seemingly healthy. Other than the plant food in the soil, I do not use food or any additives, I just water it regularly. A few months ago, I noticed three small bright yellow mushrooms growing in the soil. My 5 year old mutt has seizures. What are the causes & prevention?

I rescued him when he was about 8 months old, but the damage had already been done. He was severly abused, beaten, taped in a box at night, lit on fire (he has long, beautiful curly hair) and choked. He has seizures out of the blue, and years back I had him on seizure meds, that altered him so bad, he wasn't my baby anymore. So we took him off. I was driving home from work and it ran out of gas. It will not start now though the engine does crank over. I went to another website and it said to press the fuel cut-off reset switch on the drivers kick panel. I did that and it will still not start. When to baptize?

What are your thoughts on when someone should be baptized? I was raised Catholic and am now Episcopalian, so I am familiar with infant baptism. Infants are baptized to welcome them into the church family. The congregation and Godparents make a promise to help raise the child to know Jesus until such time as they take on the job themselves. In the Catholic church, that is at Confirmation. My Episcopal church goes through Rite 13 and Confirmation. My next door neighbor goes to a church that baptizes adults because she says they wait until the individual gives their own consent because it is a big deal. Both of those reasons make sense to me. I am curious about this because the same neighbor just went to a baptism party for an 8 year old girl in her church. How is an 8 year old girl qualified to make that decision? Aside from saying "Jesus is good", which my 4 yr old can do, how is a child able to make such a big decision? Wouldn't 16 yrs or so would be better? More adult?

To parents with children in the Autistic Spectrum, how do you deal with a major anxiety meltdown?

All children on the spectrum are different so there are different ways of coping with them. If you can tell that the child is heading for a full blown meltdown the first thing to do if possible is to remove them from the situation and get them some where safe and quiet. They also tend to like their own space, my own daughter will not let me touch her until she is ready and that could be several hours later. If they are going to have a full meltdown then there is nothing you can do to stop it you just have to ensure they are safe and secure. At the moment I am pretty sure what triggers my daughters fears so I tend to avoid those situations. I am sure as your son grows you will learn when he is heading for a meltdown and what to do without even thinking about it. Do try different things with your son as what works one day will not work the next. I know with my child I can sometimes get it wrong and make the situation worse but then at other times I can do just the right thing. Just make sure your child feels safe and secure and that he can come to you with his fears.

My son got them all the time but he's learned and now he comes to cl prepared most of the time. Middle school is a big leap up in responsibility. Even though you don't like it, it teaches good life lessons, such as, you have to be responsible for your actions. I think parents should support the school system in their ideals even if they don't necessarily agree. It shows kids that when rules are made you need to follow them.

I've done some of my own experimenting and no matter how I eat; lots of carbs, low carbs, no carbs, my blood sugar levels are fluctuating a lot. The other day I tried an experiment where I ate scrambled eggs with ham chunks, diced potatoes and sausage gravy mixed together for breakfast, for lunch I ate Skyline deluxe burrito and when I got home my blood sugar was still only at 97. I expected it to be off the charts. Another day, I ate scrambled eggs for breakfast and then meat and potatoes for lunch and by dinner by blood sugar was only 46. My meds have not changed so what's going on with my body? I'm under tremendous stress every day but that hasn't changed for over a year and a half so what's up with me?

A dream i had last year?

So i am in a plane in the first row of first cl. Suddenly the plane explodes and everyone dies. But then i wake up and realize that i'm still alive and still in the plane. Knowing that the plane is going to explode like in my "dream" i ran to the back of the plane and sat in an empty seat. Then the plane explodes again and everyone dies again. Hey lady!! I was able to find out I was having a boy at 16 weeks and two days. We called him DarthDarth binx because that is what are son was calling him. I don't know why he calls him that but it stuck. Are they going to do a sonogram at 14 weeks? I am high risk so they do a sonogram each time I go in but if you are not high risk they may not give you one until 16 or 20 weeks. You would be really lucky to find out at 14 weeks but that can be too soon to call it for sure.

1 month old wont sleep?

My baby girl is 1 mth today. She refuses to sleep during the night. She stays up a lot during the day, so I ume she might sleep at night. I put her to bed around 11:00 pm shes up by 1:00 am and she stays up until 6:00 am usually. Put the harness on her and even if she takes a little step give her a treat and praise her, maybe she might get used to it. Try to do this every single day. When it comes nice and sunny out you should take her out like 3 times a day and if she walks praise her a lot and give her treats and toys. Show her the concept that if she does something good she will get rewarded. So try to do this very often and do it a lot in your house so she can get used to it I hoped I helped!

Question about gas-insert fireplace and wood-burning...?

I'm a big fan of regular wood burning fireplaces. It's a lot more romantic don't you think, thank just turning on the gas fireplace! You can always add a gas insert to a regular fireplace, but I wouldn't, not the same experience or ambiance. No to mention, wood will be much cheaper in the long run that paying for the gas bill. But to answer your question, you can convert a regular fireplace to a gas fireplace, but you house must have a gas supply. If not, you'll have to have gas routed to your house (only if its available in that neighborhood), or have a propane tank installed on the side of your house. Either way, you're talking big bucks, and for what benefit?? As far as the draft goes, all you have to do is close the damper / flue on the fireplace when you're not using it. This is a metal "door" that you can close as you reach up in the chimney, that serves this purpose. Also, many fireplaces have gl doors that close, cutting off most of the draft. On another note, there are also self-venting gas fireplaces that can be added to any home, that do not require a chimney.

Hey, i have long resisted the urge to get Xanga, Myspace, and Facebook accounts because i find the idea of internet socialization to be sort of weird and pathetic. I am all for it. I'm gay and I want to be a father with my husband. It really isn't going to happen biologically (I can't see going through sperm donations and surrogacy), so adoption is really our only option. I am perfectly okay with a single person or a couple adopting a child, as long as they can provide a safe, loving, and nurturing home for the kids. If they can do that, I am perfectly okay with it, regardless of orientation. Looking from the perspective of an orphan, I would be very thankful to have loving parents and I wouldn't care about their ual orientation.

I think you should contact a friend or someone who owns a non-venomous and very docile type of snake. Smaller species like a milk snake, king snake, corn snake or ball python that is hand tamed. Ask him to be around you for a few hours with it on him or him holding it. Just do usual things, like watch a movie and get him to hold the snake beside you. eventually you should calm down. Ask questions about the snake. how their body works, how big it gets, what it eats, how it eats, is it active during the day or night. Just things that you may think of asking about it. if there are other people around watch them hold and interact with the snake. eventually maybe you will feel closer to the snake and want to hold it and know more about it. Snakes are amazing as pets and love to just sit on you when hand tamed. hopefully I helped. good luck.

How to help my new boxer feel at home.?

My husband and I recently adopted a 2 year old female boxer named Shelby. We already have a male. She and the male growl at each other constantly, they fight over food, and if you show one affection but not the other at the same time they fight . Shelby, (to me anyway) acts like she is sad. She dosen't want to sit with us on the couch. She dosen't want to lay with me in the bed. She just acts like she is out of place. Is this normal? Well... depending on your rabbit's age, if they are younger rabbits (Anywhere from six months to a year and a half) it is likely that they are both pregoes. (Pregnant) The sister should be fine with the other rabbit, I had two sisters in the same pen when my baby bunnies were born(It was the same cirstance as yours, I didn't even see them mate). The only thing that is likely to happen will be that the one sister with chew the hair off of the other to line her nest with. If they are show rabbits, I would take her out, because even though it does not hurt the other rabbit to have her hair pulled out, it can b unsightly. But.... I doubt it will matter because both bunnies have probably had access to a buck. Have fun with you baby bunnies!!

have you checked that you have set the right thing for a SMS tone? it took me ages to figure out which one was the tone for SMS. have you gone into options then gone profiles(ringtones) and then pressed the menu key and gone edit then gone down to SMS text and made sure none of it is on mute and it is all set to how you want it? I think thats how it works thats how i did mine, also if that doesnt work try going into the help part on the menu?

What my Spanish teacher did with our cl to practice conjugation was a "conjugation road race." Basically we were organized into groups, and she would give us a verb, and every person in the group would write one form of the verb then p the paper to the next person to write the next form. To make sure that people weren't doing the same verb form each time groups of five would be best, that way one person does two forms each time, and everyone in the group does a different form each time.

I went &saw a chiropractor he did xrays my neck is too straight pinching nerves causing 4 of the vertebrate to be stacked straight in a line, makes my head stick forward, my spine curves to my right maybe 2-4 inches off center at the worst point, having severe headaches(getting new gles might help) lower back and neck pain severely for a couple years. I had a cat scan no tumors or growths, doctors at hospital said they are tension headaches couldnt explain spinal pain. So anyways he "adjusts" me and oh boy did that hurt, says come back tomorrow. So I do and he adjusts me again and then we go over my xrays. Points out the problems(also adjusts my kids and said they need to come once a week, they are 4 mo and 21 mo)and says he would normally charge 6,500 4me but in a package deal(seeing him 3x a week for 84 sessions)3,000 upfront or 200 a month and if I give it all at once 15% off up front I am not a gullible person and I am very nervous about this but I hurt so bad,will it help?

My one year old lab had been acting sick for the last 3 days or so. He had diarrhea, vomiting, regurgitation, and lethargy. I made him a vet appointment for today.
